Stratus Financial (founded by seasoned FAA instructors) offers funding solutions for pilot training, working with schools and investors to simplify the process.

Minimum Requirements

  • You must be 18 years of age
  • US citizen or legal permanent resident (green card)
  • Must have a bank account in the United States

Approval is within 1 business day and loans are typically funded within 2–3 weeks (depending on responsiveness).

The loan application form is all that’s needed to apply. Stratus will determine if a co-borrower is required based on your information.

Flight Training Finance

Flight Training Finance LLC offers customized funding solutions and collaborates with flight schools to streamline access to aviation education.

Minimum Requirements

  • You must be 18 years of age
  • US citizen or legal permanent resident (green card)
  • Proof of sufficient income to repay (or a co-borrower)
  • Good credit history

Approval is within 1 business day if the application is sent via the flight school.

Funds are paid directly to your chosen school upon signing of the contract by both applicant and flight school.
